Masters of Computer Administration(MCA)

Master of Computer Applications is a postgraduate Information Technology course. Computer Application is a use of computer to solve a specific problem or to accomplish a particular job for an end user. For example, common business computer applications include sales order processing, inventory control, and payroll. It is popularly known as M.C.A. which is an abbreviated form of Master Computer Applications. The duration of Master of Computer Applications is three years, divided into a number of semesters which are generally six in number.

Generally, the 1 year course is aimed at skills development in computers using various technologies, the 2 year is more focused providing a conceptual framework and the 3 year provides the specialization and the project work. Master of Computer Applications is a computer science degree whose curriculum is primarily based on the development of application software in diverse areas.

  • Duration of MCA Course:3 years (6 semesters)
  • Eligibility for MCA Course:
  • 1.Any graduate who has passed or appearing for the final year degree examination in any discipline (Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering or any approved University) is eligible to apply.
  • 2.Candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation. B.C.A. qualified candidates can also pursue M.C.A.

Master of Business Administration - MBA Course

MBA Courses assist you in customizing your learning through a course pathway based primarily on your education, career experience and goals. It provides in-depth understanding of traditional and nontraditional aspects of Management Education.

MBA programmes are designed to help students formalize ideas and look at them logically. A combination of rigorous research-based curriculum with an emphasis on real-life applications, the experiential knowledge pushes students to discover practical business solutions using the tools and techniques that develop in and outside classroom during course duration.

MBA (Gen.)

  • Duration of MBA Course:2 years (4 semesters)
  • Eligibility for MBA Course:
  • Entrance Exam
  • Master or Bachelor degree/Shastri examination (New Scheme) of three year duration with atleast 50% marks in aggregate or any other examination recognized by M.D. University Rohtak as equivalent

MBA (Gen.)

  • Duration of MBA Course:2 years (4 semesters)
  • Eligibility for MBA Course:

MBA (Business Economics)

  • Bachelor degree in Business Admn. /Commerce / Computer Applications/Engineering/Technology /Pharmacy or Master degree in Commerce with atleast 50% marks in aggregate or any other examination recognized by M.D. University, Rohtak as equivalent

MBA (Hons.)

  • Duration of MBA Course:5 years (10 semesters)
  • Eligibility for MBA Course:
  • Academic Merit
  • Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) with atleast 50% marks in aggregate from Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or any other examination recognized by M.D. University, Rohtak as equivalent.

Masters of Technology(M.Tech)

The University offers AICTE approved 4-semester post graduate courses leading to Master of Engineering degree in 8 disciplines, namely, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Mining, Electronics and Tele-Communication, Computer Science and Technology, Engineering Mechanics and Geoinformatics and a 4-semester post graduate degree course in Master of Town & Regional Planning.

The aim of the MTech programme is to train the students in high level theoretical knowledge which enables them to tackle practical complex problems of design and development in the industrial field as well as pursue further academic achievment through research. Enough flexibility is provided in the structure of the programme in respect of lecture courses and project work to help the students to achieve the above mentioned aim.

M.Tech.(Comp. Science & Engg.)

  • Duration of M.Tech Course:2 years (4 semesters)
  • Eligibility for M.Tech Course:
  • Admissions shall be made by the University. First on the basis of valid GATE Score Merit. If GATE Score candidates are not available then merit of marks in the qualifying examinations shall be considered for admission.
  • B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Computer Science & Engineering /Computer Engineering / Information Technology/Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering /Electrical Engineering or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT/Software) or M.Sc. (Maths.) or M.Sc.(Physics) with at least 50% (47.50% marks for SC/ST candidates of Haryana only) marks in aggregate alongwith valid GATE score in Computer Science & Engineering /IT.

M.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)

  • Duration of M.Tech Course:2 years (4 semesters)
  • Eligibility for M.Tech Course:
  • Admissions shall be made by the University. First on the basis of valid GATE Score Merit. If GATE Score candidates are not available then merit of marks in the qualifying examinations shall be considered for admission.
  • B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/Thermal Power Engineering / automobile Engineering/robotics Engineering / CAD / Mechatronics / Aeronautical Engineering/Industrial engineering with 50% marks (47.50% for SC candidates of Haryana only in aggregate) alongwith valid GATE score.
